Smarter, More Energy-Efficient Level Meter • March 12, 2026

This update makes the level meter in your menu bar significantly smarter about when and how often it updates — without any change to how it looks or feels.

Improved: The level meter now uses less energy while audio is playing. When your audio levels hold steady, the meter updates less frequently on its own — and instantly speeds back up the moment anything changes.
